PALILULA MUNICIPAL SAINTS DAY - `GATHERING OF SERBIAN SAINTS` CELEBRATED

Palilula Municipality, City of Nis, where the oldest part of the city is situated in the biggest way keeps the spirit of old Nis and celebrates its on Saint Day `Gathering of Serbian Saints`. The authorities of Municipality are satisfied with the managed things and the City authorities promised the help for Nis Palilula to keep old traditions and realize its vision of development.

Boban Dzunic, the president of Palilula Municipality and Zoran Perisisc, Mayor of the City of Nis, congratulated all the people from Palilula this day and promised that Palilula successfully continues its own social economic development. According to our plan of development, Palilula Municipality, if there will be enough money, will be focused on infrastructural equipment of its territory, said the president. During the ceremony of Mayor of Nis PhD Zoran Perisic promised the help of the City, so that Palilula could keep up characteristic old spirit but also could be modernized enough so that it could make life of their own citizens easier.

At the ceremony of Saints Day of Palilula, there  were present many representatives of local authorities, General Consul of the Republic of Bulgaria in Nis, representatives of Citizen Councils, managers of public enterprises, representatives of organizations of civil societies and media.

In the presence of Nis Eparchy priests, traditional cutting of Saint cake was performed in one holly atmosphere contributed by folk- group `Nisko Zone` that performed a few songs.
